WEB GEMS- Bot 6th: John Marzano blocked the plate, saving a run!

Catcher Matt Lecroy touched them all and had 3 RBI as the Yachats Yogi's
topped the North Carolina Wright Flyers by a score of 11 to 9 at Berra
Stadium.

It was a good day for Yachats thanks to Lecroy. He cracked a solo homerun
(his 2nd of the season) in the 3rd inning, lined a single which plated a run
in the 6th inning and doubled bringing in a run in the 7th inning. Yachats
bats were hot in the 6th inning with 6 runs on 6 hits. A wild and woolly
affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times.

Steve Karsay(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 and 1/3
innings. John Rocker was credited with his 1st save. Jeremy Bonderman(0-1)
ended up with the loss in relief.
