pulled out a win over the Calgary Vipers by a score of 7 to 5 at Moose
Park.

Moose Jaw erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs
on 2 hits. Geovany Soto opened up the inning nicely when he stroked a
base-hit. Patterson next to the plate and he popped a two-run clout over the
fence (his 4th of the season) resulting in an exciting win for Moose Jaw and
a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Moose Jaw banged out
10 hits on the night.

Joel Zumaya(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Brian
Boehringer(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief. 'It's almost like the ball
was trying to hit my bat,' Patterson said. 'Whenever I would swing, the ball
found the sweet spot.'
