Hurricanes Storm in Late to win 12-6 over Engineers




Halifax won their first game by a score of 12-6. Pedro Martinez struck out 7 in a row at one point for Baltimore, but couldn't get out of the 7th inning. The Hurricanes went on to score 9 runs in the last 3 innings.

Sean Casey hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI as the Halifax Hurricanes topped the
Baltimore Engineers by a score of 12 to 6 at B&O Field.

Halifax came up with 5 runs in the top of the 7th inning with the help of 4
hits. It was enough to earn the victory. Baltimore was out-hit by Halifax,
17 hits to 10.
