Yogi's Fall Behind Early and Lose 9-3 to Hydros




The Hydros got off to a fast start with a triple and two doubles in the first en route to a 4 run inning. Puget Sound never looked back from there.

Tony Gwynn hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI as the Puget Sound Hydros outscored the
Yachats Yogi's 9 to 3.

Puget Sound jumped out to the early lead in the first inning when they scored
4 runs on 3 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Puget Sound
won despite being out-hit by Yachats 13 hits to 9.

Billy Traber(1-0) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Jose Mesa was
credited with his 1st save. Mac Suzuki(0-1) was hit with the loss. He
couldn't find the strike zone and allowed 11 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
